A Simple Word...

While taking Mikayla to her riding lesson, we had to stop for a moment to wait on the ferry. She talks pretty much all the time, but today I hear her start with letter sounds... "Sss-Tuh- STOP!  Mom! It says STOP!"  Yes, she has seen stop signs her whole life and knows what they are called, but it was heart-warming to hear her excitement of having sounded the word out on her own and being able to READ it!  I love being a mom! :)
